• Seddon Atkinson has established a pay-per-use European roadside rescue and service network covering 12 countries, providing drivers with a single national phone number in each country to call for assistance.

Eurolink operates in conjunction with parent company Pegaso's own European service network, and with National Breakdown in Britain, Europ Assistance in Spain, and Euronet (a DKV service network) throughout Europe.

Three main stockists in Paris. Antwerp and Madrid carry a full range of Seddon Atkinson vehicle parts and an additional 15 outlets are being established on major trunking routes to carry fast-moving spares. Seddon Atkinson says all these outlets will have workshop manuals, specialist tools and personnel trained in the company's range.

Drivers will call the appropri ate national assistance number. A financial check is made, and then Eurolink will arrange the appropriate assistance. This will include up to four nights' accommodation, return costs for the driver after the first four nights, and vehicle parking for up to 15 days.

The service will apply to all UK-registered Seddon Atkinson and Pegaso trucks.
