• Furniture manufacturer Ercol, has taken delivery of the first two Volvos — FL612 rigids — to join its 22-strong fleet. A third is expected to enter service shortly.
The vehicles were supplied by Volvo Trucks dealer DawsonFreight Commercials of Watford and have six metre aluminium bodies by Frasers of Oxford. They will be based at the headquarters of Ercol's transport division, George Worley, and will handle delivery of furniture to stockists throughout the UK.
