• NISSAN UK will launch a new range of one-tonne pickups in Britain within a month. Two versions, a 4x2 and 4x4, will be offered only with petrol engines.
The 4x2 pickup is fitted with the four-cylinder 66kW(89hp) two-litre Z205 engine which has a peak torque of 147Nm(1081bft). The fourwheel-drive version has the 2.4-litre Z245 engine which produces 74kW(100hp) and has a maximum torque of 177Nm(130Ibft).
Although a diesel will not be offered initially, Nissan UK says one could be made available later.
Both models have a fivespeed overdrive top gearbox, and have a payload of 1,140kg.
