THE WEST MIDLANDS Joint Industrial Council was due to meet as we went to Press on Tuesday this week.
It now has the formal backing of the sub-areas of the Road Haulage Association, and the nine members from its side were to be led by Norman Ingram.
The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service, which has been involved closely in getting the JIC of the ground, was scheduled to take part in this week's talks.
