TWO large contracts from nnanufac1turers have been gained by F.. Perkins, Ltd., which -will more than offset the loss of business from Vauxhall Motors, Ltd-., who are now building their own oil. engine. This announcement is made by Mr. F. A. Perkins, chairman, in his annual statement.

AS from today, the 13,000 hourly paid workers of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., will receive increases. Skilled men will get an extra 4d. art hour, semi-skilled 3d. and unskilled 21d. The standard weak of the company is of 421 hours, so that skilled men will receive an additional 14s. 2d. a week.
