THE BRITISH Standards Institution has published BS AV 50 Tyr and Wheels Part 1 Section lg Car Tyres, this being a revision of ti existing section if which it supercedes.
In this revision, the tyre tables have been aligned with the current European Tyre and Rim Technical Organisation (ETRTO) standards.
Section 1 g specifies tyre sizes, together with load and inflation pressure for tyres designed for use with the wheel rin specified in Part 2 of the stE dard.
The standard also provid guidance on calculating ty rolling circumference and on E justing pressures and loads relation to camber angle.
