Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MORE than 40 per cent out of the 300,000 cabs produced by Motor Panels of Coventry over the past 12 years have gone for export.

"The cost of developing a new cab system represents at least 40 per cent of a new vehicle launch," said Neville O'Keefe, Motor Panels sales director. "Many manufacturers are searching for ways to reduce these costs."

Motor Panels is now offering a "totally flexible" service with this in mind, covering the formulation of concept studies, styling, scale models, prototype engineering, jig and tool engineering and product design in addition to its manufacturing facilities.

Any combination of the services can be tailored to suit an individual customer's requirements.
