A revised edition of CM'S Guide to Drivers' Hours and Records has just been published. It incorporates the amendments to the exemptions and concessions which have taken effect since the publication was first issued by CM at the beginning of the year. In particular, it gives details of the concessions to drivers of meat-product vehicles and drivers engaged in the carriage of animals. To meet demand from readers, CM has now published its Transport Education Index as a separate reprint, and this is available from the above address price 2s post paid. The first comprehensive guide of its type, it lists the examining bodies and their membership qualifications and then provides a geographical guide to the places in Great Britain where courses are run for those wishing to achieve the qualifications by examination.
