something for everyone in CM

In less than six months decimal currency will be introduced in Britain, and transport men no less than those in other industries will have to learn quickly to live with it. In next week's CM there will be the first of a series of short, simple articles explaining in plain language how decimalization will affect transport—in accounting, costing, wage payments, staff, in fact all the many transactions involving money in commerce.

Also in this October 2 number will be a road test and operational route trial report on Bedford's new YRQ coach; a look at licensing in the traffic courts; a round-up of some of the novel and ingenious equipment and accessories now, available; and a man-to-man interview with the 1970 Lorry Driver of the Year.

In the following week's CM (published on October 9) we'll be reporting on commercials and psi' at the Paris Show, with plenty of pictures: taking a second bite at the decimalization topic; and offering a frank account of drivers' views of their working life, vehicles and legislation.

To make sure of seeing these interesting issues (which will also contain CM's regular news, comment and practical guidance features) place an order with your newsagent now.
