• A £200,000 order for 85 trailers, the most valuable single order ever placed in the company's history has been won by Pitt Trailers Ltd, of Wigan, for export to Sweden.
Confirmation of the order from Wallenius Lines of Stockholm came on the eve of the Earls Court Show. The trailers, TIRs and 40ft platform skeletals, will be used on roll-on /roll-off car transporter operations between Britain and Scandanavia.
