The drivers, employed by Highland Omnibuses Ltd., Inverness, took their decision at a midnight union meeting after one of them had been kicked and thrown down the stairs of his bus. They spoke of fights, broken windows, seats slashed, and lights being damaged while they drove back to Inverness.
