Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE most interesting exhibit on this stand, is an exhibition vehicle consisting of an Albion tractive-unit and a Carrimore semitrailer. It has been produced for the MasseyFerguson organization. The second is a standard Carrimore car-transporter artic, towed by an Austin FFK-360 tractive-unit. Another transporter shown is a four-wheel rigid version, mounted on a FC14 Commer, which is designed for use with a drawbartrailer. A 17-cu.-yd., 8-ton tipping trailer is shown coupled to a Thames Trader equipped with a Scammell coupling and landing gear, the tipping gear being twin underfloor threestage rams by Anthony Hoist Ltd. The alloy body, which is of all-welded construction and can be tipped to an angle of 45°, is manufactured by Scammell and Nephew, who with Anthony Hoist are part of the Carrimore Group.

A new running gear, a set of which is at

present undergoing extensive road trials with the Mobil Oil Co. Ltd. (see The Commercial Motor, September 4), is displayed. This has air suspension and is fitted with Goodyear Super-Single tyres and disc brakes. This is one of the first tanker air suspensions to be built at an unladen weight of under 2 tons, actual weight being 35-75 cwt.
