QNE of the 45-seat single-deckers on the new Leyland Panther rear-engined chassis for Kingston upon Hull Transport is exhibited alongside a Daimler Fleetline for Leeds. The Panther has a wide front entrance and separate wide exit positioned ahead of the rear axle, The gangway ramps slightly from a single step at the entrance to a point immediately behind the exit, at which point a step is provided and the gangway ramps more steeply to the rear.
