QNE of the 45-seat single-deckers on the new Leyland Panther rear-engined chassis for Kingston upon Hull Transport is exhibited alongside a Daimler Fleetline for Leeds. The Panther has a wide front entrance and separate wide exit positioned ahead of the rear axle, The gangway ramps slightly from a single step at the entrance to a point immediately behind the exit, at which point a step is provided and the gangway ramps more steeply to the rear. A shallow step is also situated at the exit. Wrap-round windows are provided at the front and rear of the body. A wrap-round windscreen is also fitted to the 70-seat, double-deck body on Daimler Fleetline chassis for Leeds City Transport on this stand, although the frontupper-deck panels are flat.
