AN insulated van of composite construction with a length of 16 ft. 4 in. is shown mounted on a B.M.C. chassis-cab, a notable feature of the van being Joloda floor tracks, access to which is provided by full-width
rear doors. Assembled with high-tensile bolts and patented lock nuts, an 8-cu.-yd., light-alloy tipping body is mounted on a Dodge chassis and is elevated by an Edbro W.3 tipping gear, the underframe being of mild steel.
Constructed of seasoned hardwoods with mild-steel pillars and tie plates, a special 11-ft. tipping body on a Dodge chassis (also equipped with an Edbro W.3 lifting gear) is insulated with glass-fibre slabs arid the floor is further reinforced with tongued-andgrooved softwood of 1 in. thickness surfaced with asbestos sheet. A Dodge-based doubledrop-side body with a length of 17 ft. 6 in. is constructed of seasoned hardwoods.
