ATHRUST of 26 tons and a tipping angle of 65-70' is provided by the Autolifts D.25M twin-ram, slant-type lifting gear shown fitted to an Atkinson chassis, the dumper body of which has a capacity of 10 cu. yd. A 7-cu.-yd., double-skinned body of the U-shaped, air-insulated type, on a Bedford 71-ton chassis, can be elevated by the L8F single-ram, front-end gear to an angle of 500.

The two remaining exhibits comprise a Thames-based, 6-cu.-yd. body, the lifting gear of which is an M8U/3 single-ram slant type, and a 5-cu.-yd. drop-sided body on a B.M.C. FJ K100 chassis, which is fitted with an SI 2F single-ram, front-end gear.
