AVEX or Tucker rivets or Avdelock bolts are used in the construction of a lightalloy pantechnicon and aluminium boxvan exhibited alongside a composite steel-timber integral van body. The pantechnicon has a capacity of 1,680 cu. ft. and is mounted on a Bedford chassis with extended wheelbase. The boxran is based on an A.E.C. Mercury chassis and has a capacity of 1,100 cu. ft.; the 530-cu.-ft. integral body is matched to a Leyland 2-ton chassis. Designed for pallet loading by trolley, the boxvan has flush sides and is panelled in white-impregnated glassfibre.
