Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Volkswagenwerk G.m.b.H.,

c/a Volkswagen Motors Ltd., 32-34 St. John's Wood Road, London, N. frv.8.

FOLLOWING the recent alteration in Volkswagen sales policy, making the 1-ton van with 1,500-c.c, engine standard and dropping the 15-cwt. with 1,200-c.c. engine by the end of the year, the five exhibits on this stand are 1-tonners.

There have been few recent modifications to the design, the main ones being the introduction of double taper-roller bearings for the final drive pinion and a slight change to the heating system in the cab. Thermostatic regulation of air to the engine is now used and the full flow of air is utilized for heating when the engine is not fully warmed up. There has also been an improvement in the windscreen wipers with a more powerful motor and longer blades.

There are two standard models among the five exhibited, these being a pick-up and a van with double doors. There is also a pick-up with a double cab which provides six seats, including the driver. The other two exhibits are refrigerated versions with bodies by Renwicks Garages, one of them being designed for carrying blood plasma.
