THE six vehicle exhibits on the Karrier Stand all have

bodies to show the various types of work that the concern's products can be put to. There are two Bantam 3tonners, three Gamecocks and a Walk-Thru ambulance.

The Bantams are to quite different specifications, one being an 8-ft. 2-in.-wheelbase tipper with a Perkins 4.203. 63 b.h.p. diesel engine. A factory-built body is fitted, the tipping being by a single ram. The body measures 9 ft. 8 in long by 6 ft. 2 in. wide by 1 ft. 2 in. deep. It is of timbet construction with sheet-steel internal 'lining. For a completely different use is a 10-ft. 2-in.-wheelbase Bantam which is shown with mobile-shop bodywork by Smith'5. Delivery Vehicles Ltd. The power unit in this case is a four-cylinder petrol engine developing 515 b.h.p.

Gamecock 4-, 5and 6-.ton models are shown, the smallest powered by a Perkins 4.236 80 b.h.p. diesel engine the other two by the Perkins 6.354, 120 b.h.p. engine. The 4-tonner is a low-loading integral van built by William Lewis Ltd. and is the 11-ft. 9-in, wheelbase version. A special Edbro tipper body is mounted on the 5-ton model

which has a wheelbase of 9 ft, 7 in., whilst -the 6-tonner has a wheelbase of 11 ft. 9 in. and is fitted with a drop-side body..

The ambulance, developed by Karrier in conjunction iith Dennis Bros. Ltd., is based on the C.ommer Walk:Thru van chassis and is powered by the Rootes 85 b.h.p., six-cylinder, petrol engine. " The Walk-Thru design is very suitable for ambulance bodies because of the low step height.
