WELDERS, using electric equipVi' ment, will find their work facilitated by a handy gadget that has just been produced by Philips Industrial (Philips Lamps, Ltd.), Century House, Shaftesbury Avenue, London, W.C.2. It is a calculator, consisting of a cardboard disc, which is masked in such a manner that a variety of sets of readings can be taken from it by adjusting the disc in relation to the mask as required.
