Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Route planning • Freight Software Systems has a new route planning computer system called Micropath.

It can plot the fastest or shortest route for any combination and depot location for a company's customer base. It takes into consideration different road types, speed limits, width, height and weight restrictions, and will also handle user-defined constraints.

Freight Software is aiming Micropath at operators for route planning, setting journey standards or for taking strategic decisions such as depot location and assessing new contracts.

It is available either as a software/database package to run on IBM-compatible PCs or as a bureau service. The package costs 27,000 which inclues a regularly-updated database of "all significant roads in the United Kingdom".

More details are available from Freight Software Systems on (0602) 587639.
