• A series of convictions that led to Worcester hauliers Timothy and Robin Harthill, trading as Harthill Bros, being ordered to pay fines, costs and back duty totalling £15,050 (CM July 19) has led to the number of vehicles authorised on their licence being cut and the duration of that licence be
ing reduced.
In his decision West Midland LA Ronald Jackson has prematurely terminated the licence so that it expires at the end of 1987 instead of on December 31 1989, and he has curtailed the authorisation from eight vehicles and two trailers to five vehicles and one trailer.
