• Blackburn-based WH Bowker has won a new contract to supply transport services for BASF (UK), the British subsidiary of the German chemicals comPany.
Bowker will use four Volvo FL6s on the contract, which is due to last for five years.
Three of the vehicles are fitted with Craven Tasker 'Taskload' sliding door van bodies. The other vehicle has a dropside flat body fitted with mounting points for three demounta-* ble tanks.
All four vehicles are fitted with tail-lifts, chemical resistant floors and fireproof exhaust systems:
