Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

material having remarkable physical and chemical properties has made a manufacturing breakthrough into the motor industry, according to New Metals Sz Chemicals.

This new sheet foam material, Foamega, it says, has unique physical and chemical properties which make it ideal as a gasketing material and is used by a leading Italian motor manufacturer.

Foamega is stable up to temperatures over 200°C (approx. 400°F) with excellent resistance to petrol and oil vapours as well as vibration. It will not burn and does not degrade or give off toxic gas emissions, even after long periods at high temperature. A remarkable resistance to ''compression set' allows the foam to form a tight gasket seal between uneven surfaces.

Foamega is available in rolls of up to 915mm (36in) wide and a range of thicknesses up to 25mm (lin). An adhesive layer can also be applied to the foam for ease of fixing.

Samples of the new foam are available from: New Metals and Chemicals Ltd Abbey Chambers Highbridge Street Waltham Abbey Essex
