The muncipal G16 is powered by the 101kW(135hp) Perkins 6.354.5 turbocharged, but non-charge-cooled, engine which can be fitted with a front-mounted power take-off.
An Allision MT643 automatic transmission is available as a option to the G16's standard six-speed manual gearbox.
The larger, high-roof crew cab is raised by twin-hydraulic rams, although by relocating the oil filler and dip stick pipe, oil checks can be carried out through a small trap-door without raising the cab.
Payload on the municipal G16 is quoted as seven tonnes, while its price will be around £25,000.
