A SOUTHDOWN open-top double-decker has been on a working holiday in Denmark.
The Danes wanted an opentopper for a children's charity fund-raising campaign and an order was placed through Ley
land Vehicles' Danish associate company.
As the result, Southdown's 17year-old Leyland PD3, with driver Norman Stevens, was advertising Brighton's tourist attractions while operating special town tours in Arhus, Denmark's second city.
Norman drove on all except rest days when a local driver from Arhus Tramways took over. I hope the Danish driver remembered to steer.
