RAY HICK has become the new works engineer at Midlands British Road Services Wolverhampton repair centre. He was previously with Vincent Greehous, the Bedford main agent in Telford, and prior to that, with Furrows, who are Ford lorry specialists. Mr Hick, who has worked in the commercial vehicle maintenance field for 11 years, succeeds Frank Goodall, who retired at the end of August after more than 20 years with the company.

New United States management at Sandbach Engineering, Fodens' successor, includes the British commercial vehicle industry's only woman chief engineer.
