BRITISH Car Auctions have been encouraged by the response to a recent coach sale held at Brighouse in West Yorkshire.
The entire second-hand coach stock from Baker West's nowclosed coach sales depots was put under the hammer and most of the 82 coaches sold.
Prices were generally above the reserve. As a typical example a 1978 Bedford YMT Duple was sold for just under £15,000.
BCA says that a large number of coach operators attended the sale and they bought most of the coaches.
