Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Freight Transport Association has introduced a new insurance package for British exporters to cover cargo carried by road, rail, sea and air.

ThruCover consists of a warehouse-to-warehouse all-risks policy covering a trader's goods against loss or damage in transit by any means of transport. Under the "off the peg" policy, the limit is £250,000 in respect of any single accident.

An FTA members' discount on premiums has been negotiated with additional discounts available based on turnover and on goods carried on members' vehicles, subject to FTA vehicle inspection.

Two optional extensions have also been arranged, one of which should be of interest to own-account operators. The ThruCover insurance package is only available to FTA member companies and has been introduced in conjunction with its insurers, Ernest A. Notcutt and Co.

Full details are available from FTA at Hermes House, St Johns Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN4 9UZ (Tel: 0892 26171).
