LATEST container model introduced by Crane Fruehauf Trailers Ltd. is a 500 cu. ft. pressure discharge hopper model designed to conform to the basic 20ft by 8ft by 8ft module.

The container framework is constructed in mild steel tubular and channel section material welded to the tank shell via hat-section stiffening rings.

The actual tank is of single-compartment construction fabricated from stainless steel and is of integral hopper design, the angle of discharge being 45deg.

Detachable easy access 16in. internal diameter air plenums are fitted at the base of each hopper, each plenum having a fluidizing pad, and each hopper outlet having a separate product control valve. There is also a 4in. -bore discharge pipe manifolding all hopper outlets together to a single discharge point at the rear. Tare weight is 2 ton 19cwt 2qr and in this standard form the container is equipped for ISO operation only.
