Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NOW delivered to Atlantic Container Line, mainly for whisky traffic to the USA, is the first of 50 tank-container units from Universal Bulk-handling Equipment Ltd. The new container embodies two stainless steel tubular tanks lying side by side within dimensions of 40ft by 8ft by 4ft 3in.

The essence of the system lies in the inherent beam strength and torsional stiffness of the tanks assisted in this case by Universal's patented Radiax mounting system. As applied to the ACL container the Radiax system comprises radially disposed axial arms welded to the walls of shallow half-drum fabricated assemblies on the crowns of the tank's dished ends.

At opposing ends of the two tanks the halfdrum carries a trunnion boss which engages a bearing ring in the fabricated diaphragm that is welded into the main end-frames. Adjacent to the diaphragm in the other half of each end frame is a fabricated rectangle of box-section members to which is welded the "skins" of the half drum of the second tank. Hence one end of each tank is fixed, the other floating. Capacity of each container is 4.700 Imperial gallons, and the tare weight is 4 ton 2cwt 2qr,
