Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The oil-engined bus was overhauled after a mileage of 72.000, whereas the five petrol-engined units average 80,000 miles. The fuel-injection nozzles of the compression-ignition engines are cleaned every 3,500 miles, and the inlet and exhaust valves decarbonized every 12,000 miles, but these mileages are being raised gradually as experience is gained, and it is expected that soon they will become 5,000 and 15,000 respectively. The pintles of the Bosch. fuel-injection nozzles required reseating after 100,000 miles, and the fuelpump timing chain was renewed after this mileage. Failures occurred in the steel pressure pipes between the pump plungers and the fuel nozzles, but an improved design has eliminated these defects. Tnouble was experienced during the winter through the exhaust gases not providing sufficient heat to keep the interior of the passenger saloon warm, but it is believed that the introduction of a special thermostatic control and the reduction of the radiator capacity will, in future, give satisfactory heating.
