Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COR 1936, the policy of the InterI national Harvester Co. of Great Britain, Ltd., 259, City Road, London, E.C.1, will be to continue the C range of commercial vehicles. The C-1 15cwt. chassis and the C-20 2-toianer will remain unchanged, whilst the C-W type will, in the case of the longwheelbase pattern. have Lockheed hydraulic brakes as standard equipment and an oil filter fitted to the engine.

A new model is to be introduced to.

wards the end of November. This will be known as the C-35 and will be avail-able with a wheelbase of 14 ft. 7 ins. With a load capacity of 4-4 tons, the vehicle will have the same pattern of engine as is fitted in the C-40 model, in which a six-cylindered overheadvalve power unit of 222.7 cubic ins.. capacity, developing 78 b.h.p. at 3,400 r.p.m., is employed. The new model will have a four-speed gearbox, whereas the C-40 has a five-speed gearbox.

Another feature of the C-35 will be the use of hydraulic brakes, otherwise it will be of orthodox International design.

In future, the C-40 chassis will be rated as a 5-tanner, instead of a 4tonner, and will have hydraulic, instead of mechanically operated, brakes. Salient points in the specification of the C-40 include a downdraught carburetter, all-metal rollerbearing anti-friction universal joints and spiral-bevel gear-type final drive with fully floating axle.
