Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Oil-Ex, a new matting system that absorbs oil, lubricants, motor fuel and solvents to protect the working environment, is being sold in the UK by Delkor.

This product, originally developed in Germany, is manufactured from re-cycled materials and consists of a top absorbing layer made from bonded rubber granulates. A bottom, impermeable layer prevents contamination of the underlying surface.

The make-up of the material allows the liquid to be distributed throughout the matting surface and once looked in, it cannot be squeezed or washed oat, claims the distributor.

Oil-Ex is offered with a choice of surface, grooved or flat. The product will also provide a degree of shock absorption plus noise and thermal insulation. The matting is 1,480mm wide and available in up to-100m lengths.
