iana Dooner, the Ipswich wonder woman who campaigns on many issues close to the heart of truckers, has launched a "Trucker's Xmas Treat Appeal" to help deprived children in countries such as Bosnia and Romania where, she says: "Truckers witness some of the most horrific scenes, month after month, by crossing through these countries".
Diana wants truckers to donate any special offer tokens found on food packaging, tins and bottles together with fuel vouchers. "I want to turn these tokens into little acts of kindness," she says. Donations can be sent to Diana do Linnian Freight, Unit 17, Claydon Industrial Estate, Ipswich, Suffolk.
