• King Trailers has introduced a lightweight plant carrier that offers maximum C&U payloads but which is ready to uprate to 44 tonnes when UK legislation permits.

Known as the Dyson LTS 37/3, it tares out at 6.8 tonnes, offers over 25.tonne payloads with 4x2 tractive units, and can operate at up to 46 tonnes on STGO Cat 1 work. Operators anticipating 44 tonnes with three-axled motive units can achieve loads of 30 tonnes. The Dyson has a peripheral frame with a neck-to-deck depth of 350mm, a 9.5m-long bottom deck and a shallow stepped and chamfered neck profile that gives 8° loading angles.
