Bulk transport December 16 Tipper operators March 10 Own-account operators May 26 Light vehicles July 17 TIR operators September 18 Passenger transport October 9 Entry is simple. We need four If-plate colour prints showing full front, rear and both sides the vehicle. In the passenger nsport class we also require interior print showing seat iering.
Each entry must be made on original CM entry coupon. e entry fee is £5.00 per
Class winners will be preIted with a silver salver to be ained for all time.
The competition will be lged by a panel of experts der the chairmanship of Sir gh Casson, president of the yal Academy of Arts.
They will be looking for a ery which is practical, sthetically acceptable and s what business the owner is What does the competition for the competitors? Photo
graphs of the winners and best entries will be published in colour in CM. This will add to the prestige of the entrant and put the company's name before the public and the industry.
The competition is designed to improve the public image of road transport in all sectors. It is not a gimmick but a genuine (and hopefully for CM a not too costly) effort to help the industry in its presentation to the public.
We will be announcing the closing dates in CM at appropriate times together with any special regulations.
In every case the judges' decision will be final. There is no appeals procedure.
The next event, Class C, is Bulk Transport Operators. It is confined to tank and bOlx vehicles with a carrying capacy in excess of 11 tons. Use thus coupon to enter. Remember, entries molt reach us by December 16.
