Rex Watson Lee, managing director of the Rootes Group commercial vehicle division and a director of Rootes Motors Ltd., is on a three-week sales tour of Australia, New Zealand and the Far East. With him is George Kozioff, divisional director of product planning and engineering.

A former Ministry of Transport vehicle examiner in South Wales, Gordon Roe has been appointed assistant chief engineer of Leicester City Transport Department.

K. J. Thorpe has been appointed general manager of Stewart and Ardem Ltd., commercial vehicle division, which includes Stewart and Ardem (Coach builders) Ltd. Arthur D. Fogg has returned to the AEC Southall works as director and general manager of AEC Ltd. He succeeds John Bowley who remains on the AEC board as executive deputy chairman until he retires in mid-1967. Mr. Fogg, previously works manager of the Southall factory, has for the past three years been director and general manager of the Maudslay Motor Co. Ltd., Alcester, Warwickshire—a company now within the Leyland Motor Corporation.

Arthur Edwards, managing director of J. J. Edwards (Hinckley) Ltd., has been elected junior vice-president, National Association of Furniture Warehousemen and Removers, following the vacancy caused by the death of Gerald Wernher. Mr. Edwards has been a member of the executive council of the NAFWR since 1952 and has also served on the council of the BAOFR.

After 40 years in the trade, mostly as commercial vehicles sales manager, Harold Rawnsley retires from Truro Garages Ltd., Truro, on December 23.

G. Carruthers has been appointed general manager, United Welsh Services Ltd., with effect from January 1, He is assistant general manager, Hants and Dorset Motor Services Ltd.

Lloyd Adams has been appointed managing director of J. Brockhouse (South Africa) Ltd.
