BRITISH Rail and the Devon General

bus company are co-operating in a new venture aimed at improved travel facilities. From November 20, travellers can purchase railway tickets at the Devon General's Paris Street bus station at Exeter and the company's enquiry office in Fore Street, Tiverton.

"Train tickets will be issued to any destination in Britain just the same as at a railway station ticket office," said a Devon General spokesman. "It is hoped that these new facilities, available in the town centres, will prove time-saving and of more general advantage to the travelling public."

Pickfords Travel Office: Alderman E. J. Williams, deputy Mayor of Coventry, fast Friday opened the new Pickfoods travel office at 7 Station Square, Coventry. The office is part of a plann.ed development programme—not yet complete—and new Pickfords travel offices have been opened at Bexhill, Eastbourne and Worthing. •
