cCOTTISH Omnibuses Ltd. has been granted a licence to operate an express coach service from Edinburgh to Inverness. The service, aimed at taking more winter sports enthusiasts into the Cairngorm centres, will be run jointly with Highland Omnibuses Ltd. on the direct rou north via Aviemore.
Mr. A. Ross, assistant traffic manager Scottish Omnibuses, told the Traffic Coi missioners in Edinburgh that the Saturdays-on journey would take about 4-1hours to the s centre at a return fare of £2 Is. 9d.
