THE Humber Bridge Committee intend L to press for a further meeting with Mr, Ernest Marples to impress upon him their view that the Humber Bridge project is of more than regional importance. They point out that the lack of a bridge meant a 70-mile detour from the Lincolnshire side of the river, via Boothferry Bridge to Hull.
