A NEW frontal appearance has been

adopted by Leyland Motors, Ltd„ for 'itan half-cab bus chassis, and orders vorth £160,000 have been placed with the ompany by the municipal transport lepartments of Cardiff, St. Helens and Vigan, and the Yorkshire Woollen Dignet Transport Co., Ltd. A doublelecker with this new front end was exhilited at the Commercial Motor Show in eptember; it had an Alexander body and vas part of a Glasgow order.

The new-style front end was designed jointly by Leyland Motors, Ltd., and Mr. John C. Wake, general manager and engineer of St. Helens Corporation Transport, and the complete structure was developed with the aim of improving vision from the driving seat and producing a more rigid and distinctive assembly.
