SUNTER BROTHERS, the Northallerton (Yorkshire) heavy haulage contractors, have sold the coaching side of their business to Percival Brothers (Coaches), Ltd., of Richmond, Yorkshire.
The business consists of certain stage carriage services in the Northallerton and Darlington area, and several excursions and tours licences operating principally for military personnel stationed at Catterick Camp, Short-term licences have been granted to Percival Brothers to operate the services pending the consideration by the Northern Traffic Commissioners of substantive applications to take over the services on a permanent basis.
