AS a result of the acquisition of H. V. Burlingham, Ltd., the Duple board has decided that the sales departments of its several companies shall be grouped in one organization to market all the group's products — Duple (Hendon), Duple (Midland), Willowbrook and Burlingham.

A sales company is to be formed, and an application has been made to register the name Duple Group Sales Co., Ltd., the directors of which will be Mr. R. E. Brown (director of. sales), Mr. G. A. H. Payze (general sales manager), Mr. R. Beechey Newman (fleet sales manager) and Mr. E. S. Walker (northern area manager).

The administrative offices of the new company will be The Hyde, Hendon, London, NM.9. There will also be a safes office under Mr. C. Rix at H. V. Burlingham, Ltd., Vicarage Lane, Blackpool.

Repair and service facilities and supplies of parts for all group models arc being arranged at the Hendon, Loughborough and Blackpool factories. The new range of Burlingham Seagull 61 and 70 bodies for Bedford, Thames and underfloor-engined chassis will continue, complementary to the existing range of bodies manufactured by Duple (Hendon). Duple (Midland) and Willowbrook.
