As you don't run a personal column in your magazine I was wondering if you could possibly be of some assistance through your editorial columns.

At present I have a young lady staying with me who has just managed to break away from a home life that you would hardly believe.

She knows little or nothing about herself and did not even have any ID until she came to us. However she can remember her father being around for about the first five years of her life. He was driving trucks in the early eighties, is called Peter and will know the name Zoa.

This young lady would like us to locate her father if possible and hopefully put a few more pieces into the puzzle. She does not want to break into anybody's family life and is not looking for him as a father figure. If he can be located he will not have to communicate with her directly unless he wishes to do so.

Margaret Fisher,

Bradford, West Yorkshire.
