PRODUCTION has started at Thornton and Garnett, Settle, North Yorkshire of a new type of hydrostatically driven fourwheel drawbar trailer for use on rough terrain by foresters and logging contractors.
The trailer, fitted with a Lyka 5.5-tonne-metre post crane so that it can be self-loading, is designed for carrying a maximum payload of 10 tons when used in conjunction with a specially modified County model 1164 all-wheel-drive agricultural tractor.
