Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Crosville has joined the Lasco scheme for linking northern towns with air and sea ports by coach. The scheme already includes Ribble, Cumberland Motor Services, North Western Road Car, Standerwick and Yelloway.

The operators provide connecting coaches to a wide range of air and sea terminals from nearly 90 towns in the North and North West. They are not scheduled services but run at the request of tour operators. The service, started two years ago, is geared to passengers in groups using package holidays.

A brochure giving details of the points served, together with single fares, is available from the headquarters of the scheme: Ribble head office, Frenchwood Avenue, Preston PR! 4LU.
