to 1849 when John T Rennie a Scottish entrepreneur won a ship in a bet and founded a shipping firm.
In 1970. the company. which had expanded into a multi-national operation, decided to sell its British freight operation, Rennie Hogg.
As part of the shake-up, its branches in the Midlands were subject to a management buy-out under the leadership of main shareholder, Neville Baxter, Ian Baxter's father. Rennie Hogg, or RH, was created in 197 with just 30 people working out of four offices Ian Baxter spent the early part of his care as a lawyer, joined the RH Group board in 199 and took over as MD in 2003 when Nevi! Baxter stepped across to become chairman the business. Younger brother Andrew is depu MD, while older father Nigel oversees Commercials a Renault truck dealership ar truck rental business.
