shop is ready to run

A KEENLY priced one-stop-shop for operators is the basis of the 'Ready To Run' programme kicked off in Birmingham by Citroen. The manufacturer believes it will increase market share in the chassis cab market by offering standard body specifications direct to operators.

Citroen has tied up with several conversions specialists for the programme.

These include Tipmaster for tippers, Ingimex for dropside bodies, Jiffy Trucks for catering, Somers for fridge and freezer bodies and Rohill for car transporters.

Major attractions for the end user will he the speedy turn around time as bodies will be built for stock, and the price tag: without VAT or delivery the retail price can be up to 35% cheaper for the compete article than Citroen's book price for the chassis cab.

The Ingimex dropside bodied Relay shown on the stand is priced at £10,995 (ex-VAT and delivery). It is powered by the 2.2HDi diesel engine producing 104hp.
