ITH THE introduction of the Driver CPC legislation just two months away, we have teamed up with Fraikin to launch the BigTrain, a major training initiative aimed at offering you and your drivers lowcost, high-quality training.
For just 199 per delegate, you can join the first of the Road Transport Big Train days and get your first seven hours training in the bag early, Driver CPC training directive comes into force on 10 September this year, and from that date all HGV drivers will need to carry out 35 hours of approved training every five years.
"It makes sense to start the Driver CPC ASAP," says Keni Ashton, HR manager — resourcing and development at Fraikin, and the person responsible for the Driver CPC training at the contract hire, fleet management and rental giant."This programme is aimed at offering quality training across all areas of the Driver CPC syllabus, and delivering drivers need-toknow information in a relaxed, modern training environment."
The first of the Big Train events will be held on Saturday 12 September at the Warwick University Training Centre, near Kenilworth.
