Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Mailshots tend to get weeded out of the post and just chucked in the bin, but not until you have paid for the paper, design. printing and postage, which can amount to a hefty outlay bill. If you do want to use this method, think hard about the size of the leaflets and compare print and postage costs for A4 or A5. Postage now climbs steeply by envelope size as well as by weight.

Also, make sure you use a decent graphic designer. Rates can vary a great deal, but an A5 flyer shouldn't cost more than E100. Digital printing is cheaper than litho, but ask for samples because the quality isn't always as good. It shouldn't cost more than £100 per thousand, and wifl get cheaper with volume.
